2026 review
Geoff Hartlieb was an up-and-down bullpen arm for ATH, posting a 4.82 ERA and 1.57 WHIP in 28.0 IP across 18 games with a 17.7 K% and an 11.3 BB% over 124 BF, working to 2 W, 1 L and 2 HLD. His year ran through repeated roster churn: his contract was selected Jun 20, he was designated for assignment Jul 3 and outrighted Jul 4, selected again Jul 18, designated for assignment again Jul 27 and outrighted Jul 29, then selected once more Sep 2. Undrafted in NFBC drafts, he finished 859th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 549th of 811 pitchers and 420th of 575 relief pitchers. His 4.82 ERA ran 0.90 above his 3.92 xERA over 124 BF. The TDK LABS card described him from the start as a long-relief callup with no save or hold role and skill markers that trailed his ERA, still framing him as depth after he came back to the roster in late Jun, and by early Sep it noted stronger stuff away from the majors than his low-leverage mop-up work showed. By late Sep it filed him as a deep-league mop-up option coming off a stretch with an ERA that had run well above average earlier in the year.
