2026 review

George Springer hit .249/.321/.405 with an 18.4 K% and a 9.1 BB% over 517 PA for TOR, adding 15 HR, 12 SB and 54 RBI across 126 games, a season that survived a pair of absences. A left great toe fracture sent him to the 10-day IL on Apr 12 before he was activated Apr 29, missing 17 regular-season days, and he later went to the paternity list on Jul 1 and the bereavement list on Jul 4 before returning Jul 6. His .320 wOBA ran 14 points above his .306 xwOBA over 517 PA, and his best month was Aug at .321 over 84 AB against .208 over 96 AB in May. The TDK LABS card moved with him: in early May it had him back from the foot injury but capped by a thin contact profile, in late Jun it noted the day-to-day paternity leave, by late Jul it had him riding an extended hot stretch, and by late Sep it had him cold over his last games on a struggling team. Drafted at ADP rank 98, he finished 183rd of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 85 spots below, and 135th of 660 hitters and 8th of 46 DH.
