2026 review

Gerardo Carrillo was a swingman arm who got knocked around while racking up strikeouts: a 4.15 ERA and 1.73 WHIP in 17.1 IP over 13 games for ARI, with a 25.9 K% and a 19.8 BB% over 81 BF, 16 BB, 21 SO, 3 W and 1 L. His contract was selected Jul 18, he was recalled Jul 21, optioned Aug 17, recalled again Aug 23, then optioned Sep 8, working 6.0 IP in Jul, 11.0 IP in Aug, and 0.1 IP in Sep. Undrafted in NFBC drafts, he finished 631st of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank and 263rd of 575 relievers. The TDK LABS card had him making his debut in long relief in late Jul, and by early Sep it was describing him as a low-leverage middle reliever recalled amid roster turnover with no save or hold in his role.
