2026 review

Gordon Graceffo was a swingman reliever who racked up saves and holds despite shaky control, posting a 2.67 ERA and a 1.10 WHIP in 81.0 IP across 62 games with 1 start for STL, with a 19.3 K% and an 11.0 BB% over 326 BF, 8 W, 1 SV and 7 HLD. He was optioned Mar 21, recalled Mar 31, optioned again Jul 3 and recalled Jul 6. His 23.7 CSW% over 1222 pitches was the 39th lowest of 517 pitchers with 100+ BF. Undrafted in NFBC drafts, he finished 232nd of 1472 overall in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 68th of 811 pitchers and 36th of 575 relievers. His 2.67 ERA ran 1.90 below his 4.57 xERA over 326 BF. Left-handed batters managed just .134/.259/.239 over 158 PA against him, while right-handers hit .241/.307/.359 over 168 PA. The TDK LABS card flagged him picking up a vulture save late in a game in early May, called him a bulk middle reliever running hot by early Aug, and by late Sep was describing him as a multi-inning reliever whose ERA was running well ahead of his command.
