2026 review

Grant Anderson worked as MIL's low-leverage relief arm all year: a 3.36 ERA and 1.12 WHIP in 59.0 IP over 52 games, with a 22.1 K% and a 9.8 BB% over 235 BF. He was optioned Aug 5 and recalled Aug 14, then placed on the 15-day IL Sep 7 with right biceps inflammation and took a rehab assignment Sep 16, missing 20 regular-season days with no activation on record through Sep 27. Undrafted in NFBC drafts, he finished 394th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 165th of 811 pitchers, and 106th of 575 relief pitchers. By late Aug the TDK LABS card had him back as low-leverage middle relief, and by mid-Sep it had him on the 15-day IL with the biceps inflammation.
