Greg WeissertBOS · RP

2026 review

Greg Weissert was a reliable bullpen arm who limited hard contact, posting a 3.26 ERA and 1.24 WHIP in 60.2 IP with a 23.5 K% and a 7.8 BB% over 255 BF across 63 games for BOS, picking up 4 W, 1 SV and 8 HLD along the way. His 24.6 Hard% over 171 BBE was the 18th lowest of 517 pitchers with 100+ BF. He was optioned on Aug 7 and recalled Aug 13. Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 653, he finished 400th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 171st of 811 pitchers and 110th of 575 relief pitchers. His 3.26 ERA ran 0.34 below his 3.60 xERA over 255 BF. By early May the TDK LABS card had him pitching a low-leverage ninth, and by mid-Aug it had him as a bullpen depth piece without a clear save or hold lane.
