2026 review

Harrison Bader's season was defined by injury more than production: in 30 games with SFG he hit .170/.198/.358 with a 30.6 K% and a 3.6 BB% over 111 PA, going 18-for-106 with 5 HR and 14 RBI. After signing as a free agent Jan 30, he was placed on the 10-day IL Apr 12 with a left hamstring strain, took a rehab assignment May 5, and was activated May 11, only to be placed back on the 10-day IL May 30 with left plantar fasciitis and then transferred to the 60-day IL Aug 19, missing 149 regular-season days across 2 stints. Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 308, he finished 1223rd of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 915 spots below his ADP rank, and 52nd of 70 CFs. His .238 wOBA ran 34 points below his .272 xwOBA over 111 PA. The TDK LABS card tracked the setback closely: in early May it had him cleared to run bases but still without a firm activation timeline, and by late Aug it had him ruled out for the season after a foot injury, still sidelined on the 60-day IL as of late Sep.
