2026 review

Hunter Bigge worked relief for TBR this year and struggled to hold a steady spot, posting a 6.98 ERA and 1.45 WHIP in 19.1 IP across 18 games, with a 16.5 K% and a 16.5 BB% over 85 BF, 14 SO, 14 BB, 1 W, 1 L and 5 HLD against 1 BS. TBR optioned him Mar 24, recalled him Apr 3, optioned him again May 30, designated him for assignment Sep 8, and he was claimed off waivers by ATH on Sep 11. Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 909, he finished 908th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, and 449th of 575 relief pitchers. In early May the TDK LABS card had little read on him at all, but by late May it described a power arm working middle relief in a matchup-first Tampa Bay bullpen without a clear path to save or hold chances, with a rough recent outing pushing him toward lower-leverage spots.
