Hunter GaddisCLE · RP
2026 review
Hunter Gaddis was a contact-limiting reliever whose results held up all year: a 2.98 ERA and 1.28 WHIP in 60.1 IP across 68 games for CLE, with a 22.2 K% and an 8.6 BB% over 257 BF, and 32 HLD against 6 BS. A right forearm strain put him on the 15-day IL Mar 25, retroactive to Mar 22, and after a rehab assignment he was activated Apr 13, missing 19 regular-season days. Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 1201, he finished 349th of 1472 overall in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank and 137th of 811 pitchers, and 82nd of 575 relievers by position. His 24.6 Hard% over 175 BBE was the 19th lowest of 517 pitchers with 100+ BF, and his 2.98 ERA ran 1.11 below his 4.09 xERA over 257 BF. Right-handed hitters managed just .183/.254/.226 over 131 PA against him while lefties hit .301/.373/.496 over 126 PA. The TDK LABS card was skeptical early, calling the results untrustworthy off a blown save in early May, by early Jul it had him as the primary setup arm despite another blown save, and by late Aug it described him as a setup arm sending mixed signals — clean recent work but lost command and dipped velocity in a mostly linear bullpen.
