Jac Caglianone hit for power on a lineup that leaned on him, going .289/.340/.494 with a 26.0 K% and a 6.0 BB% over 553 PA, adding 23 HR, 72 R and 75 RBI over 143 games for KCR. His 54.7 HardHit% over 369 BBE was the 6th highest of 267 hitters with 300+ PA, and it showed up against right-handers, where he hit .304/.363/.519 over 383 PA, against lefties much worse at .258/.288/.442 over 170 PA. Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 199, he finished 54th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 145 spots above, and 7th of 79 right fielders. He hit .411 over 95 AB in Aug against just .222 over 90 AB in May. By early May the TDK LABS card had him as a live power bat off a pinch-hit home run; by Jul it had him back with the power tool live and the expected numbers ahead of the surface line; by late Sep it had him closing the year strong on barrel rates and power production.
