Jack WeisenburgerNYM · RP

2026 review

Jack Weisenburger was a bulk relief arm who kept the ball off the barrel: he threw 7 games out of the bullpen for NYM, posting a 2.13 ERA and 1.11 WHIP in 12.2 IP, with a 28.0 K% and an 8.0 BB% over 50 BF. He signed a minor league contract May 2, had his contract selected Aug 9, got optioned Aug 19, recalled Sep 11, and optioned again Sep 25, posting 4.1 IP over 4 games in Aug then 8.1 IP in Sep. Undrafted in NFBC drafts, he finished 505th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, and 172nd of 575 relievers. The TDK LABS card opened him as a long reliever with no leverage on Aug 10, still skeptical of his minor-league track record by Aug 18, then by Sep 11 had him recalled specifically to replace Devenski in the bullpen before another recall for bulk work on Sep 23.
