2026 review

Jackson Chourio was an everyday left fielder for MIL who hit well across the board but did his best work against left-handers rather than righties: .331/.401/.571 over 172 PA against lefties, .274/.328/.450 over 402 PA against righties. He hit .291/.351/.487 with a 23.4 K% and an 8.2 BB% over 573 PA, adding 27 2B, 25 HR, 96 R, 75 RBI, 23 SB and 5 CS across 127 games. A left hand fracture kept him out to start the year, and after a rehab assignment Apr 29 he was activated May 4, having missed 40 regular-season days in that stint. Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 19, he finished 17th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 2 spots above, and 2nd of 93 left fielders. His .361 wOBA ran 17 points above his .344 xwOBA over 573 PA. His best month was Sep at .337 over 98 AB against .229 over 105 AB in Jul. The TDK LABS card had him back in an everyday lineup spot right after his May 4 activation, still playing through soreness in a full-time role by Aug 21, and by late Sep it had his contact quality and surface production lining up as a full-time contributor.
