2026 review
Jaden Hill worked out of the COL bullpen all year, posting a 5.22 ERA and 1.49 WHIP in 39.2 IP over 46 games, with a 22.1 K% and a 12.7 BB% over 181 BF, going 1-4 with 2 SV, 13 HLD and 5 BS. Right shoulder tendonitis sent him to the 15-day IL on Jun 24, retroactive to Jun 21; he took a rehab assignment Aug 14 and was activated Aug 19, missing 59 regular-season days in the stint. Taken in 7 of 674 drafts at NFBC ADP rank 741, he finished 967th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 627th of 811 pitchers and 485th of 575 relievers. His 5.22 ERA ran 1.27 above his 3.95 xERA over 181 BF, and the ERA actually got worse after the IL stint, 5.06 in 26.2 IP before it against 5.54 in 13.0 IP after he came back. In early May the TDK LABS card had him as a risky holds arm with a walk problem, by late Aug it noted he was back from the shoulder issue, and by late Sep it was still calling him a high-walk reliever even as it read his underlying numbers as better than a rough stretch of blown saves suggested.
