2026 review

Jahmai Jones hit .206/.298/.369 with a 32.0 K% and a 9.4 BB% over 181 PA across 94 games and 39 starts for DET and BOS, adding 6 HR, 20 R, 16 RBI and 3 SB. DET designated him for assignment on Jul 9, and he moved on to BOS. Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 1003, he finished 1095th of 1472 overall in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank and 28th of 46 DH. His .299 wOBA ran 29 points below his .328 xwOBA over 181 PA. By mid Jul the TDK LABS card had him working a pinch-hit role in Boston with little everyday path, by early Aug it noted a hot recent stretch with the role still unsettled, and by late Sep it pointed to an edge against left-handed pitching obscured by a recent cold stretch.
