2026 review

Jake Fraley spent most of his season either hurt or working back from it, batting .216/.289/.364 with a 29.9 K% and a 9.3 BB% over 97 PA across 31 games, adding 7 2B, 2 HR, and 3 SB. A hernia sent him to the 10-day IL on May 17, retroactive to May 16, and he worked through rehab assignments on Jun 27, Jun 30, and Aug 25 before finally being activated from the 60-day IL on Sep 15, missing 122 regular-season days in the stint; TBR designated him for assignment Sep 20 and released him Sep 22. Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 1179, he finished 1258th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 79 spots below, and 62nd of 79 right fielders. The TDK LABS card tracked the layoff and the crowded return: in late Jun it had him on the IL with the hernia, and by mid-to-late Sep, freshly activated, it noted that another player had taken over the everyday right field job, leaving him a limited path to playing time.
