Jedixson PaezCHW · BOS · RP

2026 review

Jedixson Paez was a young reliever who got hit hard in his limited chances: he posted a 10.80 ERA and 1.89 WHIP in 11.2 IP over 5 games (1 GS) between CHW and BOS, with a 14.0 K% and an 8.8 BB% over 57 BF, allowing 4 HR and going 1-1. He was designated for assignment by CHW Apr 1 and returned by BOS Apr 4, then his contract was selected by BOS Sep 1 before he was optioned Sep 2, recalled Sep 25, and optioned again Sep 27. Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 812 in 16 of 674 drafts, he finished 995th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank and 497th of 575 relievers. The TDK LABS card called it a rough debut in early Sep, allowing 8 runs in limited innings, and by late Sep it had him back for bullpen depth in a doubleheader, framed strictly as long-relief usage.
