Jo AdellLAA · CLE · OF

2026 review

Jo Adell hit for pop against lefties but chased enough against everyone else to carry one of the lowest walk rates in the game, going .240/.298/.401 over 660 PA in 603 AB across 159 games for LAA and then CLE, with 23 HR, 94 RBI, 70 R and 5 SB. He posted a 23.8 K% and a 5.2 BB% over 660 PA. He was traded from LAA to CLE on Aug 3. Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 125, he finished 95th of 1472 overall in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 30 spots above, and 9th of 79 right fielders. His 5.2 BB% over 660 PA was the 22nd lowest of 267 hitters with 300+ PA. Against left-handed pitchers he hit .320/.372/.599 over 191 PA, against right-handers .208/.268/.321 over 471 PA. His .307 wOBA ran 22 points below his .329 xwOBA over 660 PA. The TDK LABS card in early May had his strikeout rate down but his barrel rate collapsing, calling the week bipolar; by mid-May it had the power resurfacing after a 2-homer game; by late Sep it read his contact a tick above the surface line.
