2026 review

Joe Boyle was a wild strikeout arm whose year kept getting cut short: across 4 games and 3 GS he posted a 5.21 ERA and 1.16 WHIP in 19.0 IP, with a 25.9 K% and an 11.1 BB% over 81 BF. TBR optioned him Mar 20 and recalled him Mar 24, then a right elbow strain sent him to the 15-day IL on Apr 10; he took a rehab assignment May 6 before being activated May 18, only to be optioned that same day. He was recalled Aug 15 and optioned again Aug 17, missing 38 regular-season days in the one stint. Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 776, he finished 704th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 72 spots above, and 104th of 236 SP. By Aug 17 the TDK LABS card had him back up despite a rough minor-league year.
