2026 review

John Rave played right field for KCR in 52 games and 39 starts, going 33-for-142 with 8 2B, 1 3B, 6 HR, 8 SB, 26 R and 13 RBI, hitting a .232 AVG and .430 SLG in 142 AB, with a .314 OBP, a 23.6 K% and a 10.6 BB% over 161 PA. He was optioned Mar 17, recalled Jun 14, optioned again Jul 2 and recalled Jul 29. Undrafted in NFBC drafts, he finished 945th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank and 38th of 79 right fielders. His .326 wOBA ran 11 points above his .315 xwOBA over 161 PA. The TDK LABS card had him filling in as outfield depth in mid-Jun rather than an everyday role, and by late Aug it still read him as short on opportunity once a teammate returned. By late Sep it was pointing to a recent hot stretch, with power and stolen bases showing up in his expanded chances.
