2026 review

Josh Rojas was a part-time third baseman for KCR who signed a minor league contract Jan 7, had his contract selected Jun 4, and then shuttled between the majors and the minors with options and recalls on Jun 9, Jun 23, Aug 17 and Aug 27. He hit .226/.265/.321 with a 14.8 K% and a 4.3 BB% over 115 PA across 43 games and 28 starts, going 24-for-106 with 4 2B, 2 HR, 11 R, 14 RBI and 1 SB. Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 504, he finished 1189th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 437th of 660 hitters, and 44th of 67 third basemen. His .260 wOBA ran 40 points above his .220 xwOBA over 115 PA. The TDK LABS card followed the arc: in early Jun it flagged his contract selection as opening infield at-bats with India shelved long-term, by late Jul it had him expanding his role at third base with starts in games, and by early Sep it described him as a recalled utility infielder on a hot streak before a late-Sep cold stretch.
