2026 review

Joshua Kuroda-Grauer got a brief big-league look before injury cut it short. Across 21 games and 19 starts with Oakland he hit .366 and slugged .507 in 71 AB, with a .392 OBP, a 13.5 K% and a 2.7 BB% over 74 PA, adding 1 HR, 7 2B, 8 R and 4 RBI. His contract was selected Jun 29, and he played through Jun and Jul before a ruptured testicle surgery sent him to the 10-day IL on Jul 21; the stint was transferred to the 60-day IL Sep 1, he took a rehab assignment Sep 18, and he was activated from the 60-day IL Sep 22, missing 63 regular-season days in the one stint. His playing time split 2 games and 7 PA in Jun, 14 games and 55 PA in Jul, and 5 games and 12 PA in Sep. Undrafted in NFBC drafts, he finished 1193rd of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 439th of 660 hitters and 45th of 67 third basemen. The TDK LABS card followed the injury arc: by late Jun it had him filling utility depth after other injuries opened a spot, by early Aug it had him on the IL, and by late Sep it had him just activated after surgery.
