2026 review

Juan Brito played the part of a fill-in second baseman shuttled between CLE and CIN, hitting .245 with a .387 SLG in 106 AB, adding an OBP of .296 with a 22.6 K% and a 6.1 BB% over 115 PA, across 33 games and 29 starts. CLE optioned him Mar 19, recalled him Apr 7, optioned him again Apr 28, then designated him for assignment Aug 3, the same day CIN optioned him; CIN recalled him Sep 1. Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 939, he finished 1150th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank and 50th of 75 second basemen. His .300 wOBA ran 12 points above his .288 xwOBA over 115 PA. The TDK LABS card followed the swing in his role and form: in early May it noted he had been optioned to clear space at second base, by mid-Sep it had him as a fill-in second baseman riding a hot stretch with back-to-back multi-hit games, and by late Sep it had that stretch cooling while he filled in at second base.
