Juan MorilloARI · RP

2026 review

Juan Morillo was a high-strikeout, low-walk relief arm who held down a setup and closing role for ARI all year: he posted a 2.24 ERA and 1.06 WHIP in 64.1 IP across 70 games, with a 28.0 K% and an 8.7 BB% over 264 BF, adding 5 W, 3 SV, 19 HLD and 5 BS. Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 713 and taken in just 5 of 674 drafts, a rare pick rather than a regular draftee, he finished 212th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 58th of 811 pitchers, and 31st of 575 relievers. The TDK LABS card tracked his role climbing all year: by May 8 it had him as Arizona's high-leverage setup arm, by Jul 31 a committee arm with thin equity on the ninth as save rotations shifted, still sitting third in the shared-save order by Aug 21, but by Sep 25 it had him as the lead arm in Arizona's closer committee.
