Julio Rodríguez was an everyday center fielder whose season fell short of his underlying contact: he hit .247/.307/.401 with a 22.2 K% and a 7.2 BB% over 654 PA for SEA, adding 22 HR and 22 SB. A concussion sent him to the 7-day IL on Jul 3, and he was activated Jul 18 after missing 15 regular-season days. He hit .259 over 344 AB before the stint and .230 over 252 AB after he came back. Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 10, he finished 75th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 65 spots below, and 7th of 70 center fielders. His .310 wOBA ran 24 points below his .334 xwOBA over 654 PA. The TDK LABS card called him an elite contributor once activated in mid-Jul and a full-time bat hitting hot by mid-Aug, but by late Sep it was describing his results as a career-worst season even while his contact quality stayed strong.
