He was optioned Mar 16, then recalled May 5 and remained in the majors, with 60 PA over 21 games in May, 37 PA over 17 games in Jun, 43 PA over 19 games in Jul, 59 PA over 22 games in Aug and 48 PA in Sep. Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 585, taken in just 1 of 674 drafts, he finished 562nd of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank and 32nd of 75 second basemen. His .354 wOBA ran 29 points above his .325 xwOBA over 247 PA. The TDK LABS card had him behind another player for reps right after his recall in early May, then by late Jul noted a cold stretch without a home run despite solid contact quality, and by Sep 27 had him elevated to leadoff against left-handers.
