2026 review
Keegan Akin was a middle reliever whose season ended on the injured list: he posted a 5.68 ERA and 1.50 WHIP in 25.1 IP over 24 games for BAL, with a 14.9 K% and a 7.9 BB% over 114 BF, his strikeout rate the 32nd lowest of 517 pitchers with 100+ BF while his 26.1 Hard% over 88 BBE was the 33rd lowest of that same pool. A left groin strain sent him to the 15-day IL retroactive to Mar 22, and after activation Apr 25 he went back down Jun 29 with left elbow discomfort, transferring to the 60-day IL Jul 13; across his stints he missed 122 regular-season days. Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 1130, he finished 977th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, and 490th of 575 relievers. His 5.68 ERA ran 1.95 above his 3.73 xERA over 114 BF, and his best month was Jun at a 0.77 ERA against a 6.94 ERA in May, each in 11.2 IP. The TDK LABS card had him back in a healthy pen for lefty middle-relief work in early May, then by mid-Jul it was treating the elbow issue as season-ending.
