2026 review

Keegan Thompson was a middle reliever whose Coors bullpen stint went sideways fast: 12.0 IP over 5 games with an 8.25 ERA and 1.75 WHIP, a 19.3 K% and 3.5 BB% over 57 BF, with 11 ER and 1 HR allowed. COL claimed him off waivers Jan 7, designated him for assignment and outrighted him Mar 25, then selected his contract May 20 before designating him again Jun 9 and outrighting him Jun 10. Taken in just 1 of 674 drafts at ADP rank 555, he finished 946th of 1472 overall and 611th of 811 pitchers, 474th of 575 relievers. The TDK LABS card had him in late May as middle-relief depth with no leverage path, and by Jun 9 it saw the multi-inning role evaporating with the roster move, with the Jun 14 outright putting him off the roster entirely with no save chair in sight.
