2026 review

Ketel Marte played second base for ARI, hitting .249/.316/.432 with a 13.8 K% and an 8.2 BB% over 624 PA, adding 22 HR, 78 R and 76 RBI across 141 games. He was placed on the restricted list Aug 17, activated Aug 20, then placed on the 10-day IL that same day with left knee inflammation, missing 11 regular-season days before activation Aug 31. Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 40, he finished 104th of 1472 overall in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 64 spots below, and 82nd of 660 hitters, 9th of 75 second basemen. His .323 wOBA ran 26 points below his .349 xwOBA over 624 PA. Against left-handed pitchers he hit .307/.359/.571 over 156 PA, against right-handers .229/.301/.385 over 469 PA. The TDK LABS card had him coming out of a slow start by early May, still cold in early Aug despite a favorable expected-stat read, out with knee inflammation by late Aug, and by late Sep it was tying his cold recent stretch to that knee absence.
