Kevin GinkelARI · RP
2026 review
Kevin Ginkel was Arizona's most-used bullpen arm this year, logging 74 games and a 4.12 ERA and 1.12 WHIP in 67.2 IP with a 26.2 K% and a 6.2 BB% over 275 BF, adding 6 W, 4 L, 3 SV, 11 HLD and 2 BS. Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 938, he finished 340th of 1472 overall in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 598 spots above, and 78th of 575 relief pitchers. His 4.12 ERA ran 0.57 above his 3.55 xERA over 275 BF, and his fastball climbed from 95.2 mph in Mar-Jun (232 pitches) to 96.2 mph in Jul-Sep (274 pitches). His best month was Jul at a 3.21 ERA in 14.0 IP and his worst was Aug at a 9.28 ERA in 10.2 IP. The TDK LABS card tracked a shifting role all year: in early May a home run allowed was treated as a minor blip in middle relief, by mid-Aug the card had him sharing save chances in a shaky bullpen with little recent hold work and no clear hold on the ninth inning, and by late Sep it had him running the Arizona ninth by default as part of a shared closer role.
