2026 review
Kyle Harrison struck hitters out and walked few, a 27.9 K% and a 7.1 BB% over 505 BF, but the season came apart in the second half: he went 11-5 with a 4.20 ERA and 1.35 WHIP in 115.2 IP across 28 games and 24 starts for MIL. He was placed on the 15-day IL Jul 11, retroactive to Jul 9, for left forearm tightness, took a rehab assignment Jul 30, and was activated Aug 5 after missing 27 regular-season days; he later moved from starter to reliever, with his first appearance in the new role Sep 20. Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 449, he finished 488th of 1472 overall in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 39 spots below, and 75th of 236 starting pitchers. He posted a 3.01 ERA in 83.2 IP before the IL stint and a 7.31 ERA in 32.0 IP after activation, with his best month May at a 0.96 ERA in 28.0 IP against a 5.01 ERA in 23.1 IP in Aug. Right-handed batters hit .270/.341/.497 over 359 PA against him, lefties .237/.279/.324 over 147 PA. The TDK LABS card flagged a career-high strikeout outing in early May, then by early Sep was pointing at a widening gap between his results and his underlying form, and by late Sep it had him moved to the bullpen after a rough second half.
