Lars Nootbaar walked a ton and hit the ball hard, but the results never followed. He did not play until Jun 5, when he was activated from the 60-day IL after a bilateral Haglund's deformity excision cost him 72 regular-season days and 4 rehab assignments, and he finished at .239/.342/.379 with 8 HR, a 21.0 K% and a 13.8 BB% over 334 PA in 90 games. That walk rate was the 14th highest of 267 hitters with 300+ PA and his 49.5 HardHit% over 218 BBE was the 24th highest.
