2026 review

Leo Rivas was a utility infielder who struggled to make it click at the plate: he hit .153/.267/.194 over 148 PA for SEA, with 0 HR, 2 SB in 51 games. His 28.4 K% and 10.8 BB% came over that same 148 PA. He shuttled between the majors and the minors across the year, optioned May 18, recalled Jul 31, optioned again Aug 25 and recalled Sep 24. Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 861, a rare pick taken in just 23 of 674 drafts, he finished 1327th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 540th of 660 hitters, and 55th of 67 third basemen. His .225 wOBA ran 18 points below his .243 xwOBA over 148 PA. The TDK LABS card tracked the churn: by mid-May it had his role reduced back to a utility one once another infielder returned, and by late Sep it had him serving as infield depth on the roster.
