Logan Henderson pitched with sharp control and swing-and-miss stuff for MIL, posting a 2.47 ERA and a 0.84 WHIP in 98.1 IP, with a 29.6 K% and a 5.1 BB% over 371 BF, going 11-3 with 110 SO across 18 starts. He was optioned Mar 19, recalled Apr 4, optioned again Apr 5 and recalled May 3, then a low back strain sent him to the 15-day IL May 26, retroactive to May 23; after a rehab assignment he was activated Jul 9, missing 47 regular-season days. Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 297, he finished 73rd of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 224 spots above, 15th of 811 pitchers and 10th of 236 starters. His 5.1 BB% was the 26th lowest and his 29.6 K% the 49th highest of 517 pitchers with 100+ BF, both over 371 BF. He posted a 2.74 ERA in 23.0 IP before the stint and a 2.39 ERA in 75.1 IP after activation. By late Jun the TDK LABS card had him out with a back strain; by Aug it had him back with strong starts, questioning the low walk and home run rates; by late Sep it read him as a dominant starter with strikeout stuff and control.
