Luis Torrens was a backup catcher who got semi-regular time without forcing his way into more: he hit .235/.295/.396 with a 21.0 K% and a 6.4 BB% over 281 PA for NYM, adding 9 HR and 14 2B across 91 games and 74 starts. Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 1300, he finished 526th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 259th of 660 hitters, and 23rd of 103 catchers. His .304 wOBA ran 15 points above his .289 xwOBA over 281 PA.
