2026 review

Luis Urías was a part-time infielder who made the most of a short TOR look: in 26 games and 15 starts he posted a .250 AVG and a .481 SLG in 52 AB, a .322 OBP, a 16.9 K% and a 10.2 BB% over 59 PA, with 3 HR and 8 RBI. He signed a minor league contract with ARI on Mar 13, got traded to TOR on Jun 20, had his contract selected Jun 22, then went on the 10-day IL Aug 7 with a right quad strain and took a rehab assignment Sep 3, missing 51 regular-season days. Undrafted in NFBC drafts, he finished 1241st of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, and 54th of 75 second basemen. In early Aug the TDK LABS card had him trending up as a utility infielder delivering clutch pinch-hits before the quad strain shut him down.
