He posted a 6.75 ERA and a 1.60 WHIP in 20.0 IP across 22 games for LAA, with a 22.5 K% and a 12.4 BB% over 89 BF, working 1.0 IP in Jul, 11.1 IP in Aug, and 7.2 IP in Sep after his contract was selected Jul 31. Undrafted in NFBC drafts, he finished 981st of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank and 492nd of 575 relievers. The TDK LABS card tracked a reliever stuck without a role: in early Aug it flagged him as a callup with solid underlying metrics but no path to saves or holds in a fluid pen, by mid Aug it still had him as part of a bullpen committee, and by late Sep it described his results as far worse than the quality of his outings had suggested.
