Undrafted in NFBC drafts, he finished 820th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 517th of 811 pitchers, and 395th of 575 relief pitchers. His 22.0 CSW% over 527 pitches was the 8th lowest of 517 pitchers with 100+ BF, but his 25.6 Hard% over 86 BBE was the 27th lowest of 517 pitchers with 100+ BF. By early May the TDK LABS card had him as a lefty option in a bleak SFG bullpen mix, and by late Aug it had him on a rehab assignment after the elbow strain, still halted by discomfort in late Sep.
