2026 review

Nate Eaton was a bench-depth outfielder who couldn't get his bat going in limited time, hitting .160/.300/.260 with a 26.7 K% and a 13.3 BB% over 60 PA for BOS, with 1 HR and 2 SB in 24 games. He shuttled between Boston and the minors all year, optioned and recalled repeatedly from Mar 23 through his final recall on Sep 27, playing his first game Jun 10 and his last Sep 27. Taken in just 11 of 674 drafts, he finished 1313th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank and 59th of 70 center fielders. The TDK LABS card read him as fringe from the start: bench-depth filler with no path to volume in mid-Jun, still framed as a limited-power role player in early Sep, and a cold-contact reserve outfielder by mid-Sep.
