Nathan EovaldiTEX · SP

2026 review

Nathan Eovaldi was a rotation innings-eater who cut down the free passes, posting a 4.20 ERA and a 1.22 WHIP in 145.2 IP with a 23.5 K% and a 5.7 BB% over 613 BF, going 11-10 with 144 SO across 27 games and 23 GS for TEX. Right posterior elbow inflammation put him on the 15-day IL on Aug 10, retroactive to Aug 9, and he was activated Sep 12 after missing 34 regular-season days. Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 140, he finished 415th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 275 spots below, and 64th of 236 players at SP. His 5.7 BB% over 613 BF was the 48th lowest of 517 pitchers with 100+ BF. His ERA held steady around the stint, 4.21 in 132.2 IP before it and 4.15 in 13.0 IP after. By mid-Sep the TDK LABS card had him working out of the bullpen in multiple-inning relief off the elbow rehab before a return to the rotation, and by late Sep it had him effective back in a starting turn.
