Noah SchultzCHW · SP
2026 review
Noah Schultz was a rookie starter who could miss bats but not the barrel, going 4-9 with a 5.57 ERA and 1.33 WHIP in 74.1 IP, a 20.7 K% and a 9.6 BB% over 324 BF, with 11 HR allowed for CHW. His contract was selected Apr 14, and a right knee patellar tendinitis sent him to the 15-day IL May 26 (retroactive to May 25); he took a rehab assignment Jun 16 and was activated Jul 1, missing 37 regular-season days, then was optioned Aug 8 and recalled Sep 15. He posted a 5.82 ERA in 38.2 IP before that stint and a 5.30 ERA in 35.2 IP after it. Once he moved to the bullpen for his first relief outing Sep 16, he went from starting 14 of 15 games to starting 0 of 4. His best month was Apr at a 3.52 ERA in 15.1 IP and his worst was May at a 7.33 ERA in 23.1 IP. The TDK LABS card flagged a walk-heavy Royals outing in mid-May as a control issue, then by late Sep was tracking a scoreless stretch since his recall. Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 1303, he finished 1074th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 705th of 811 pitchers and 172nd of 236 starters.
