Nolan HoffmanPHI · KCR · RP

2026 review

Nolan Hoffman was a low-strikeout relief piece who spent as much time on the shuttle as on a mound: across 15 games he posted a 3.60 ERA and 1.53 WHIP in 15.0 IP, with a 17.9 K% and a 9.0 BB% over 67 BF, plus 3 HLD. He was optioned and recalled repeatedly by PHI on Mar 15, Apr 23, Apr 28, Apr 30, May 1, May 29 and Jun 1, then designated for assignment on Aug 3 before catching on with KCR, optioned Aug 4 and recalled Sep 1. Undrafted in NFBC drafts, he finished 731st of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, and 333rd of 575 players at RP. The TDK LABS card followed the same up-and-down path: in early May it had him back down after a multi-stop shuttle, by early Sep it had him recalled to a bullpen as depth with a heavy workload leaving him unavailable and no save path, and by late Sep it described him as a setup arm with a short sample and a bottom-tier strikeout rate.
