Orlando ArciaMIN · 2B/3B/SS

2026 review

Orlando Arcia was brief, low-impact infield depth for Minnesota this year: over 19 games and 11 starts he hit .271/.300/.354, a 16.0 K% and a 4.0 BB% over 50 PA, adding 1 HR and 6 R. He signed a minor league contract with MIN on Jan 3, had his contract selected May 19, was designated for assignment Jun 15, outrighted Jun 18, and signed a minor league contract with CIN on Sep 1. Taken in 34 of 674 drafts at NFBC ADP rank 890, a rare pick rather than a regular draftee, he finished 1290th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 53rd of 61 shortstops. The TDK LABS card described him in late May as post-demotion infield depth working a strict platoon role against left-handed pitching, and by mid-Jun it had him designated for assignment and replaced by a call-up.
