Orlando RibaltaWSN · RP

2026 review

Orlando Ribalta was a middle reliever who logged innings without a settled role: 45 games and a 3.77 ERA and 1.21 WHIP in 43.0 IP, with a 23.6 K% and a 10.1 BB% over 178 BF, plus 2 SV, 12 HLD and 3 BS for WSN. He was optioned Mar 23, recalled Apr 13, optioned again Apr 17, then recalled May 2, and closed the year on the 15-day IL, placed Sep 7 retroactive to Sep 4 for right forearm inflammation, missing 23 regular-season days with no activation on record through Sep 27. Taken in just 1 of 674 drafts at ADP rank 548, he finished 536th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 276th of 811 pitchers and 194th of 575 relievers. The TDK LABS card had him in early May as a recall filling a roster spot with no clear late-game role, but by Sep 6 it had him running a shifting Washington bullpen mix through a rough patch, before the forearm issue took over the card by mid and late Sep.
