2026 review
Ozzie Albies was a middle infielder whose bat kept running ahead of his contact: he hit .237/.293/.392 with a 15.4 K% and a 6.7 BB% over 683 PA for ATL, adding 27 2B, 22 HR, 85 R and 73 RBI, but his 27.7 HardHit% over 524 BBE was the 16th lowest of 267 hitters with 300+ PA. Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 160, he finished 119th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 41 spots above, and 11th of 75 second basemen. His .298 wOBA ran 25 points above his .273 xwOBA over 683 PA. His best month was Apr at .324 over 105 AB and his worst was Sep at .136 over 88 AB, and the TDK LABS card traced that same arc: an elite offensive pace in early May, still holding by mid-May, then a cold stretch by late Aug that the card still framed as a secure everyday role, before the season ended with the card describing an extended slump with the power gone.
