2026 review

Patrick Wisdom was a bench bat who could not connect: he hit .106/.160/.191 with a 42.0 K% and a 6.0 BB% over 50 PA across 19 games (10 starts) for SEA, managing just 5 H and 1 HR in 47 AB. He signed a minor league contract Jan 20, had his contract selected Apr 14, then went to the 10-day IL Apr 17 retroactive to Apr 15 for a left oblique strain, took a rehab assignment May 5, and was activated May 18, missing 33 regular-season days in the stint. He was optioned Jun 15, recalled Aug 23 and optioned again Sep 6, with his time split 1 PA in 1 game in Apr, 12 PA over 4 games in May, 31 PA over 10 games in Jun, 5 PA over 3 games in Aug, and 1 more PA in Sep. Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 486 in 1 of 674 drafts, a rare pick and not a regular draftee, he finished 1417th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank and 65th of 67 third basemen. The TDK LABS card read him as a marginal bat in standard formats once he returned from the oblique scare in May, then as bench depth recalled to cover for an injured starter through late Aug and into Sep.
