Right knee tendinitis sent him to the IL multiple times, first Apr 10 through an Apr 27 activation, then Jun 26 through Jul 11, then a Jul 20 placement that was transferred to the 60-day IL on Aug 19 with no activation on record through Sep 27, 103 regular-season days missed in all across 3 stints. Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 849, he finished 1096th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 247 spots below, and 541st of 575 relievers. His 6.18 ERA ran 0.67 below his 6.85 xERA over 136 BF. By late Sep the TDK LABS card had him facing surgical repair on the knee.
