2026 review
Raisel Iglesias anchored the Atlanta bullpen as the closer all year, posting a 2.55 ERA and 1.08 WHIP in 60.0 IP over 59 games, with 64 SO and 17 BB, a 26.8 K% and a 7.1 BB% over 239 BF, and 34 SV against 3 BS. A right shoulder inflammation sent him to the 15-day IL Apr 21, retroactive to Apr 20, and he was activated May 5 after missing 15 regular-season days. Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 79, he finished 147th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 68 spots below, and 31st of 811 pitchers, 13th of 575 relievers. His 2.55 ERA ran 0.95 below his 3.50 xERA over 239 BF, and his 31.5 CSW% over 912 pitches was the 31st highest of 517 pitchers with 100+ BF. The TDK LABS card had him reclaiming the closer job right off the IL on May 5, and by early Sep it had him with a large save total banked; by late Sep it still had him running the ninth inning without competition and piling up saves, even while flagging the underlying process slipping late, and it kept him as the clear-cut save option through the final days of the year.
