2026 review

Ramón Laureano struggled to do much with contact he was actually getting into play, hitting .203/.286/.374 with a 31.6 K% and a 9.7 BB% over 206 PA for SDP, with 7 HR and 7 SB across 53 games. He was placed on the 10-day IL Jun 2, retroactive to May 31, with right hip inflammation, then transferred to the 60-day IL Jun 5, missing 119 regular-season days with no activation on record through Sep 27. Drafted in 667 of 674 drafts at ADP rank 225, he finished 980th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 755 spots below his ADP rank, and 342nd of 660 hitters, 42nd of 93 left fielders. His .292 wOBA ran 20 points below his .312 xwOBA over 206 PA. His best month was Apr at .237 over 93 AB against just .133 over 75 AB in May. By May 21 the TDK LABS card had him benched more than he was in the lineup, reading him as a part-time piece in the outfield at best, and by late Jun and into late Jul it had him on the 60-day IL, with the card calling a return close by Jul 29.
