Raymond BurgosBOS · RP
2026 review
Raymond Burgos worked almost entirely in low-leverage relief for Boston after signing on: 9 games, 0 GS, a 4.22 ERA and 0.84 WHIP in 21.1 IP, with a 19.5 K% and a 1.2 BB% over 82 BF, and 2 SV. He signed a minor league contract May 7, had his contract selected Aug 7, then shuttled between the majors and the minors on Aug 9, Aug 16, Aug 17, Aug 29, Aug 30, Sep 2 and Sep 25. Undrafted in NFBC drafts, he finished 483rd of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 232nd of 811 pitchers, and 158th of 575 relievers. The TDK LABS card had him called up in early Aug after Boston's bullpen thinned out, though the work itself came in low-leverage spots, and by mid Aug it had him back as bullpen depth. By early Sep the card noted he'd been recalled a second time after a rough outing in a doubleheader late in Aug, and by late Sep it still had him as a spot reliever handling long-relief innings in a pen without a settled shape.
