2026 review

Reynaldo López pitched in fits and starts for ATL, working 26 games with 13 GS to a 4.54 ERA and 1.44 WHIP in 79.1 IP, a 21.1 K% and a 9.8 BB% over 346 BF, going 4-5 with 1 HLD. He was suspended Apr 8, then left knee inflammation put him on the 15-day IL Aug 2 retroactive to Jul 30; a rehab assignment followed Aug 23 and he was activated Sep 9, only to land back on the 15-day IL Sep 15 with right shoulder inflammation, missing 53 regular-season days across 2 stints. The TDK LABS card was already skeptical by May 8, flagging fastball overperformance against a slider strikeout rate that did not back it up, and by Jul 25 it noted a late-week stumble with a bloated ERA. Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 352, he finished 1027th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 675 spots below his ADP rank, 675th of 811 pitchers, and 162nd of 236 pitchers at SP.
